This was from a guy from Zoka, doing the tulips

Sweet sweet Cal

Luke has a very bad face because he doesn't like to hold Cal, but Cal was SO happy!

Camping

So we went camping this weekend. Now for most this probably isn't a big deal, for me however, I haven't been since junior high, and can't say I've had any desire to go!

My friend rented Squilchuck state park (10 miles from my house) so I figured this would be a good intro to camping, close enough to home to shower and get clean clothes. And a good excuse to hang with friends all weekend.

Camping really requires too much work for me. Last week I had to order 2 sleeping bags from REI ( they sure make them small now!) And Friday we put the rocket box on the car, filled it with sleeping bags, tent, chairs and air mattress. The back of the car was filled with coolers, bags, helmets, food and more food. SO much stuff for 2 day!

SO the day time, dinner and campfire time was great! So much fun hanging with friends and making smores. The sleeping thing...hideous! I can not imagine ever wanting to sleep like that again. It was cold, you hear everything, and that air mattress that is supposed to make you feel like you are sleeping on a bed, looses air in the night so you wake up cold tired and stiff!

I wanted to throw in the towel on Saturday night and hang out in the evening but go home to my bed when everyone called it a night, but the kids loved it! So for them I did it 2 nights of camping! Its pretty safe to say that may be my only camping trip

Soccer Season

Logan is playing soccer again. She loves it!

Her hands are like this often...even as goalie!

Today's game she had a very special guest, Cal came to watch.

Then he got to run!
