Luke and Cal

We got to watch Cal for a bit while Julie and Ian played tennis. Now keep in mind, usually Logan watches him, well she had a friend over, so much to Cals delight it was up to Luke!

Now in this picture Cal was explaining to Luke that we had "poop" in our yard  (it was just a little dirt).

All in all they had a good time!

Dilly Bar Fun

On the 22nd Logan had her 2nd grade program! She was quite a star, so after we went for ice cream and Callahan got to joins us! Boy that was fun!

Who doesn't love a dilly bar?!

A star is born!

Logan has informed us that she would like to be an actress. This week  the Missoula Childrens Theater was at her school. The kids try out on Monday if they get a role practice starts that night. Every night they practice from 3-7 and Saturday they perform. She loved every bit of it. They put on their version of Princess and the Pea. Logan was a "Blizzard Bringer"!

Cal came over before hand to share a drink with Lo!

I'm in Love

...with the area in which I live! Today the last day of February, Lars and I did a 44 mile loop, we call the Pinnacle Loop. For those familiar with the area it goes from Wenatchee out to Dryden and makes a loop back into Wenatchee.
The pictures were taken from an area in Dryden I think always looks so pretty, it looks for miles in each direction down the valley. It didn't hurt that the sun came out and it was in the 50's!
Thanks to my sister who moved here a couple weeks ago (yay) for coming to get the kids and watch them...they too had a great day jumping between my sisters and parents house!

Methow Fun

We were able to get away this weekend with some friends to the Methow Valley.
Since we haven't had any snow since the beginning of January, we weren't too sure how it would be up there so Friday afternoon we went on a 30 mile bike ride...gorgeous!
Saturday and Sunday we took our skiis and went up high. We found great snow in Mazama on Saturday with temps in the mid 40's and sun! Sunday we went towards Sun Mountain, a little more icy, but we still had a great time.
I feel so lucky to live to close to such a great get away, and even more lucky to have such wonderful friends to do it with!
