Busy weekends!

So our summer weekends have been so much fun, I am loving every minute. The thing is I've had so many picture opportunities and haven't had my camera with me.
The weekend before was in the 100's still so we went to Lake Chelan and hung with some friends, the lake has never felt so good!
Lets see, this weekend I started off the morning at 6:30 for what was to be a "casual" ride with the ladies, but just 2 of my super fast friends went, needless to say we had a blast and got in a great workout!
Came home and the family biked our .25 mile to the farmers market, this is some of the yummy goods we got, along with some really good honey!

These guys are from our garden, we picked them before we went down to the farmers market, hence why we decided we needed peppers...time for salsa!
Then Lars met up with a friend and did a nice ride.

I also went to a friends jewelry open house and these are the fun things I got there! She had so many great things, I can't wait for the next one!

Sunday morning called for a 15 mile run. I haven't ran that far since being injured, so I was a little nervous but excited to get back to it. Running that far is a real sense of accomplishment for me (less than a year and a 1/2 ago the furthest I had ever ran was 6 miles). The key though is running with friends! I am SO lucky to have so many great women to run with. On Sunday I ran 3 miles to where we were meeting, they ran 10 with me, then I just ran 2 home. We really have such a great time and look forward to it. For an hour and 1/2 we just have our social time and get exercise. I think that aspect of it is what I missed most when I was hurt!
Ahhh Lars and I enjoyed some nice cocktail hours in the evening watching movies!
